SkillFlix for Parents is a video curriculum that focuses specifically on sharpening the skills of parents to talk to their teens about relationships and sexual health topics. It consists of a series of 60-second videos for you to view on any mobile device or computer. These videos will help prepare you for discussions that you may have with your teen about sexual health and risk. There are up to five short videos organized by lesson, which correspond to what your child will be learning at school. You can sign up for your SkillFlix account by filling out the online registration form at www.skillflix.org/content/skillflix-parents. Within 5 business days of filling out the registration form, you will receive an email with your login information and a link to www.skillflix.org. Within the site you will find the videos organized by Making a Difference lesson, so that you can easily follow along with your teen. Each video covers a specific skill set that you can use to talk with your teen. The video’s model a wide variety of different scenarios that could come up with your teen and illustrates the sub skills that parents could use to respond to them.
